The Research Department undertakes several initiatives for students to get in touch with the research projects that are developed at the Academy.
Artist-researchers reach out to the students and invite them to their studios and exhibitions. They share their artistic research in presentations and workshops.

What?
One-day trip to Bonn and Düsseldorf by bus or train (depending of the amount of participants), organised by research group Thinking Tools.
Programme:
- Visit exhibition THOMAS RUFF /// DISPERSION at KAT_A, Bad Honnef
with guided tour by collector and art critic Markus Kramer, a lunch, and a visit to the sculptures and installations in the historical garden - Visit exhibition EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED at Kunstmuseum Bonn
with guided tour by Spiros Hadjidjanos (resident at Thinking Tools) - Visit exhibition OUT OF SIGHT / ANDREAS GEFELLER PHOTOGRAPHS at NRW-Forum Düsseldorf
+ (tbc) other possible venues near the NRW-Forum: Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen and Kunstpalast
How to participate?
Participation cost is 10 euros.
(transport and entrance tickets are paid by research group Thinking Tools)
