For the fourth year in a row, the jazz department of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp joins forces with the conservatoires of Rome, Aarhus/Aalborg, Helsinki and Berlin as part of the Jazz's Cool Project. This unique collaboration brings together six international ensembles, led by an experienced Italian coach.
In autumn, each ensemble gathers for an intensive week of rehearsals at St.-Louis College of Music in Rome. That week concludes with a performance at the iconic Casa del Jazz. Later, in November and December, each ensemble goes ‘on tour’ with a concert organised by one of the participating conservatoires.
This collaboration offers young jazz musicians a special opportunity to develop their talent in an international context and to shine on renowned stages.
