Robby Cleiren (°1971) graduated with Dora Van der Groen in 1994 and in 1995 also took classes at the Actors Studio in London. He is co-founder of the Roovers; as an actor he played in Long Aftermath of a Short Communication, the Visit, the Oresteia, Seen from the Bridge, Blue Remembered Hills, Proferssor Bernhardi, Alcestis, All my sons, Uncle Vanja, Timon Van Athene, The Golden Dragon , etc. He regularly plays with other companies such as STAN (Infideles, The Monkey Trial, De Kersentuin, Zomergasten), KVS (Russia for beginners, Als/DAN), Het Paleis en de Kakkewieten (Belgium, Universal Irritant, de Imagined Greeks). He played guest roles in television series such as Diamonds, Undercover, Black out, Cordon, Clan, Marsman and played film roles in 'Holly' and 'Home' by Fien Troch and 'Linkeroever' and 'Dirty Mind' from Pieter van Hees, 'de Helaasheid der dingen' and 'The Broken Circle Breakdown' from Felix Van Groeningen.
