The Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and Art & Research have a garden group!
This autumn, artist-researcher Eline De Clercq started the ‘community garden’ to restore the ecology of the historical garden of the Academy and to think together about art and nature.
__FOR WHOM? All students, teachers, affiliated staff, and guest lecturers are welcome to join in the garden patch. Come if you're curious about nature, climate change, durability, and compost.
Everyone is welcome from beginning gardeners to the most experienced ones.
__WHEN? Every Wednesday and Thursday from 14 till 17 hours
__WHERE? In the garden patch next to the Temple, when it rains under the cover of the entrance of the Temple, and after dark in the cafeteria of the Academy to read together the book 'Staying with the Trouble' by Donna Haraway.
