“In ‘Conditions For Raw Materials’ I want to work with and on circulation of materials and thoughts in exhibitions. How can I guarantee longevity without material ‘rest’ after the exhibition? How do I store subtle, layered thinking that goes into art making? The research focuses on two materials in their raw form: stainless steel and pharmaceutical components. In this search for new modes of thinking on duration, documentation and archiving thoughts and matter, I focus on circulation: the (re)integration of material; value and (art)sale as a conceptual component; and the storing of invisible labour.”
