From 15 January 2024, Piet Menu will become the new head of the School of Arts Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. The Conservatoire went in search of a successor to Stefaan De Ruyck, who will retire in early 2024. Menu bids farewell to Het Zuidelijk Toneel as business and artistic director after more than eight years.
Starting in the 2025-2026 academic year, the Master's programme in Piano will offer you a range of options to explore. You can now choose between piano solo, chamber music & accompaniment, and opera rehearsal. You also have the option of pursuing an educational Master's degree through the Education option. The pandemic has hit the Belgian music scene very hard. To support all the fantastic artists from Belgium, a Belgian Music Week was organized from February 8 until February 14.
