Yes! Once again, the organisers of the Antwerp Jazz Festival Jazz Middelheim and the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp are tightening their bonds. Three students get three days to get ready for a dazzling performance together with the equally dazzling Joe Lovano. He is the coach on duty and takes Lars Van de Voorde (piano), Jef Manderveld (double bass) and Jesse Dockx (drums) under his wing to prepare for an amazing concert on the main stage.

On 11 March 2021, we were able to enjoy the Conservatory's percussion ensemble, conducted by Koen Wilmaers.
Concerts Composition 2020-2021available online
As is their custom each year, the composition students from Master 2 and Bachelor 3 write compositions for their fellow students from Ensemble XXI, conducted by Frank Agsteribbe. For the composers, this concert is part of their public examination in composition.
