Vision and profiling of the different programmes

The Drama department chooses to offer the three separate programmes from the first year on. We do this in order to work with the specificity of the artistic disciplines as much as possible, and to make an in-depth knowledge possible. At the same time, there are many common courses and interdisciplinary projects that ensure widening, broadening and dialogue.

The Royal Conservatoire Antwerp and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp (the two Schools of Arts of AP Hogeschool) develop their research policy in close collaboration.

Drama

Over the years, the Drama programme has proven to be of substantial influence on the international performing arts, both through its alumni and faculty. However, the use of the Dutch language makes the curriculum less accessible to students from outside Flanders or the Netherlands.
