From Thursday 27 February to Friday 28 February, everyone is welcome to join our legendary 24-hour DRAWING MARATHON! What began modestly in 2013 has grown into a biennial drawing festival and one of the highlights of our cultural calendar.
Drawing runs as a common thread through our courses. Every two years, we organize the Drawing Marathon throughout the spaces of the Academy. Students, teachers, staff, and the public all find their way to pencil and paper through the eclectic program and unique atmosphere. During the Drawing Marathon, you can experience the art of drawing in all its forms and colors: from traditional life drawing with pencil and paper to interactive digital drawing performances and 3D experiments.
We start as early as 5 AM with a morning ritual by the Academy models. The day unfolds with a variety of performers: bodybuilders, professional fencers, tableaux vivants, a live dissection of human limbs, ballerinas, Indian dancers, artistic pole dancers, musical adventures, and DJ sets.
Everyone is welcome to draw, regardless of experience. Bring your friends and acquaintances and immerse yourself fully in your creativity for 24 hours!
