Mobility in Antwerp
The easiest way to get around in Antwerp is by bike. You can buy one secondhand or on a flea market, and for those who want to rent one there's the sharing system of the red Vélo bikes or the possibility of renting one at Levanto, Swapfiets or Blue Bike. Gate15 has a mobile bike repair point. Other similar but more expensive options are shared-use steps or scooters. Public transport is organized by De Lijn (bus, tram and subway) or NMBS (train). There's discounts for students, people younger than 26, or in the weekend. You can also take the waterbus or the ferry to the Left Bank or surrounding areas along the river Scheldt. Flixbus or Eurolines has many connections to other European cities, and if you come by car, it is best to inform yourself about the current traffic situation and road works.
