Piet Menu becomes Head of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp
From 15 January 2024, Piet Menu will become the new head of the School of Arts Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. The Conservatoire went in search of a successor to Stefaan De Ruyck, who will retire in early 2024. Menu bids farewell to Het Zuidelijk Toneel as business and artistic director after more than eight years.
Options and focuses within the master Piano
From academic year 2023-2024 onwards, you can orientate within different options and focuses during the master piano. Within the option solo piano, for instance, you can opt for the focus researcher-musician, creative musician or concert soloist. In the chamber music & accompaniment option, you can further specialize in the focus collaborative pianist or repetiteur. There is also the possibility of opting for an educational master's degree via the option education.

Belgian music week
The pandemic has hit the Belgian music scene very hard. To support all the fantastic artists from Belgium, a Belgian Music Week was organized from February 8 until February 14. Over the years, we were very privileged to see several of those artists find their sound at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. We are honoured to promote their work through our Facebook and Instagram accounts this week.
End performances Bachelor Dance for live audience
We are very pleased to announce that on 18th and 19th June the final performances of the Bachelor of Dance programme will take place in front of a real audience in deSingel's theatre studio.
